The USA's Genesis Mission: Moonshot or Madness?

Here in the United States, one of the greatest assets we have in our country — from a scientific standpoint, at least — is our collection of National Laboratories. A total of 17 labs presently exist, which focus on a wide variety of scientific, engineering, and energy-related endeavors.
