If you were a steadfast moon observer, tracking moon rises and sets every day, you would have noticed something odd over the past year. When Earth’s companion first swings above the horizon in the evening hours these days, it does so further to the south then it usually would. If you were to catch its morning descent, you would have seen it taking place further to the north.
