2,700-Year-Old Private Toilet Found in Jerusalem

Archaeologists in Israel have discovered a private toilet dated to the seventh century B.C.E.—a time when such an amenity would have been a rare luxury. The team found the carved limestone fixture ahead of construction in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood of Jerusalem, reports Amy Spiro for the Times of Israel.
