The Universe loves us!

Well, not really. It’s more that natural events and forces create cosmic shapes that we interpret through millennia of evolutionary, psychological, and cultural adaptations.

But that’s hardly romantic. Don’t let stereotypes fool you: Scientists are just as influenced by emotions as anyone else.
