The dust may be settling from Japan's nuclear scare, but the devastating effects of the earthquake and tsunami are being felt still. Although it is too early for a full analysis of how thousands died and hundreds of thousands were made homeless, jobless and cityless in one of the richest countries on Earth, there are already three important lessons to be learnt.
